60th Anniversary
Events
We are hosting two open Evenings to celebrate 60 years of Balwearie High School.
No need to book a place, please join us between the times below. There will be archive displays in the Crush Halls (wrap up well), with hot drinks and sweet treats available courtesy of our barista/bakery pupils, tours available every 30 minutes, merchandise for sale and the chance to record your short ‘Balwearie story’ thanks to our partners at Edinburgh College.
Tuesday 17 December, 4.30-7pm
Wednesday 18 December, 4.30-6.30pm
Wednesday 18 December, 7.15pm, Christmas Concert
Digital archive
On this page of our website, we would like to build a digital archive of photographs and stories to tell the human history of this school.
We would like to capture memories and anecdotes from former and current pupils and staff, either on film (see the open evenings above) or in writing (no more than 500 words, ideally with a photograph from then, or now, or both). If you would like to contribute to this archive, please contact the school on balweariehs.enquiries@fife.gov.uk
