Balwearie High School

To strive to seek

Welcome to
Balwearie High School

Welcome to our Balwearie High School website. This site is designed to give our pupils, parents, staff and wider partners useful information and I hope you find it helpful.

Balwearie has a proud tradition of service to the local community as well as the surrounding areas of Auchtertool, Burntisland and Kinghorn. In addition, we work with many families who choose to send their children here on placing requests. It is an honour and a privilege to lead this school and work with so many committed young people and families who make up this community.

We strive to ensure that all young people feel safe and happy in an environment that enables them to achieve their potential and prepares them well for life beyond school whichever path they choose to follow.  Partnerships are key to our success in fully preparing young people for the future, not least the involvement of parents/carers, and your continued support is very much appreciated.

We hope you enjoy looking through the site to find out more about the school. If you require further advice or information please do not hesitate to get in touch as we're always happy to help.

Thank you.

Neil McNeil, Rector.
