This page will show some of the activities used in classes and experiences outside the classroom. 

 Starting 6th November:

October 2025 - Senior Maths Challenge

A group of our senior pupils undertook the UK Maths Trust Senior Maths Challenge! Fingers crossed for some great results. Well done taking on the challenge so close to the holidays. 

September 2025 - Maths Week Scotland 2025

Mrs Rippin, Mr McLaren and Mrs Lloyd applied for funding in June 2025 to buy some outdoor measuring equipment. 

Some S1 and S2 classes recently used their measuring skills along with a little trigonometry help to determine how tall trees are in the park. 

Groups talked about how to maintain accuracy in their measuring and how to work together using the equipment.
