Information Centre
A well resourced and welcoming Information Centre is a vital part of any school. It has a central role in supporting learning and teaching for the whole school community, both pupils and staff. It supports and enhances the academic and pastoral curriculum and has an important role in promoting policies of equality, inclusion and the raising of attainment.
The Information Centre is a whole school resource, which enables pupils to access the curriculum to the fullest possible extent. It helps them to develop learning, information handling and study skills necessary for success in school, further education and in adult life, encouraging them to become independent lifelong learners.
