Important message for S6 Prom

Dear S6 Pupils/ Parents & Guardians

Final details and payments have been received and with only 8 weeks to go until the Balwearie Prom 2018, we would like to take this opportunity to remind you of a few key points and arrangements for Prom day.

The date of the prom is Thursday 14 June 2018 and it will be held at Keavil House Hotel, Crossford. Buses will leave the school (DAS car park) at 5.30 pm and return to Beveridge Park bus park after the prom finishes at midnight. Pupils should aim to meet at the DAS car park at the school from around 5:15pm (weather permitting).  It is important to note the following points which you have previously consented to regarding this event: 

• Everyone attending will leave and return to the school on the coaches provided. (Don’t be late!)
• Although some of you will be over 18, when boarding the bus we will expect you not to be under the influence of alcohol. Any evidence of pupils who have consumed alcohol will be refused entry onto the bus. 
• Although over 16, a large number of pupils attending are non-smokers and it has been decided that the prom will be a non-smoking event.

This is a very exciting time of year for all S6 pupils and we are hoping that the Prom 2018 will be a very successful event and a night to remember!  We look forward to seeing everyone dressed up and ready to party on Thursday 14 June 2018.

Please note any pupil who has still to pay the balance of their Prom payment should do so as soon as possible.  If you have not yet chosen a table, you will be allocated to one by the Prom Committee.  Please see Miss Roslender (Business Education) if you have any questions or concerns.
