The Mathematics Department aim to ensure that support, challenge and enjoyment are available to every pupil throughout their mathematical experience at Balwearie HS. We endeavour to provide every pupil with the opportunity to achieve their potential in Mathematics. There is no such thing as a "Maths Gene", everyone has the ability to develop their numerical and mathematical skills. There is no such thing as born being good at Maths, you become good at Maths through doing it.
