Community Engagement
Recently our S1 pupils engaged with some isolated people in our community. S1 pupils from Art sent pictures for Burn's day. We received some feedback:
"Very nice. I really liked the drawing of the bagpipes" William who lives on his own and has no family or friends.
"Loved the little letter and was very impressed with the drawing of the rose. Fair cheered me up." Alison who lives on her own, family live in England only contact by phone. She has decided to get out her easel and paints since receiving the drawings and wanted to reply :-
"As a disabled pensioner living on my own the letter and drawing I received cheered me up no end. Nice surprise. It's nice to know the younger generation has it in them to be nice to us oldies. It is much appreciated."
