Rotary Young Musician 2018

On Wednesday 24th of January, Balwearie High School hosted the local Rotary Young Musician Competition with students from Balwearie High School, Viewforth and Kirkcaldy HS all taking part. Two of our students from Balwearie performed as part of the evening, Stuart Welsh playing the Clarinet and Jodie Horsburgh playing the Marimba. The standard of musicianship from all the young people involved on the night was incredibly high and, as a result of her performance, Jodie Horsburgh has been put through to the District finals to take place in Perth at the end of February.
