Ukraine Support

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR COLLECTION IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. ALL LORRIES ARE FULL AND WE HAVE NO WHERE TO STORE ADDITIONAL DONATIONS

Balwearie is looking to support Ukraine by collecting a range of supplies that are in demand and ship them over to Ukraine.

There are a number of trucks leaving Scotland for the Ukraine with supplies for both refugees and those fighting for their country. There are drop off points in Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline, it will then be transferred to Glasgow, then on to Ukraine. 

If you would like to donate they are they are looking for things such as:
  • Warm clothes
  • Gloves
  • Blankets
  • Tents torches 
  • Prams/strollers
  • Sleeping bags
  • Candles, lighters and batteries
  • Camping style, metal tableware
  • Flashlights
  • Car seats for babies and children
  • Children's clothes
  • Plasters
  • Bandages
  • Painkillers
  • Tourniquets
  • Sanitary rowels
  • Nappies
  • Toilet paper
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Bottled water ( small)
  • Canned food
  • Formula milk

Mrs Robertson (PT Pupil Support), Mrs Johnstone (Pupil Support Services Co-ordinator) and Mrs Williams (Teacher RME) will be co-ordinating drop offs both at Kirkcaldy and in Dunfermline. 

Please can we ask that the items are in secure bags/boxes and labelled and leave in J413 ( Support Centre) .
